Dana Booton brings more than 25 years of experience in the business of animation production. At Film Roman, Ms. Booton’s responsibilities involve business development, animation IP creation and management, production services, original productions, co-productions and brand strategy. Ms. Booton works with all Starz companies to represent Film Roman in the industry. Today, in the lead executive role, she oversees all production on studio projects including series: “The Simpsons,” “Beavis & Butt-Head,” “Ultimate Spider-Man,” “Dan Vs.,” “The Super Hero Squad Show” and “The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” with networks and clients such as FOX, MTV, Marvel and The Hub.

Dana Booton joined Film Roman in 2008 after founding Studio NM8, where she served as president and CEO. From its inception in 2002, Studio NM8 produced animation for Disney Channel, Jetix, Disney Junior and PBS, to name a few. Prior to that, Ms. Booton was with Saban Entertainment dating back to 1992, where she served in various executive roles through its sale of Fox Family to ABC/Disney in 2001. Her passion for efficiencies in production led her to create a state of the art animation studio for Saban. The pioneering studio specialized in 3D animation and innovative hybrid animation. During her tenure there, she was responsible for thousands of hours of programming and production. Ms. Booton also oversaw Saban Paris/SIP Animation Studios where she collaborated on multiple successful international co-productions.
